To date, we have not been able to stop the bloodshed so we need to take DECISIVE ACTION NOW!

The governments of the world will always ignore people’s natural opposition to war. The only real power that people have is to refuse to comply.

We cannot stay silent while our brothers and sisters are dying in the most horrific ways and suffering injuries, displacement and trauma. These wars have a corrosive impact on everyone, even those that are not directly involved. We are all witnesses to genocide.

Don’t allow the war machine to continue. Now is the time to STRIKE 4 PEACE – 3 days of continuous non-action and SHUTDOWN.

MONDAY 14th OCTOBER – WEDNESDAY 16th 2024

NO SHOPPING! – BUY NOTHING! Pre-plan for food and other provisions you may need.

NO LABOUR! Only emergency workers and essential workers carry on, the rest of us shutdown.

NO SCHOOL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, NURSERY! It is more important to register our horror at what is happening than worry about a few days off.

You do not need to be in a union – or even a worker – to take part in a strike 4 peace.

Under International Law, it is a criminal offence to wage a war of aggression. It is a criminal offence to assist in a crime against humanity and the crime of genocide.

To go #ON STRIKE FOR PEACE to save life is our moral duty.
