TROOPS HOME

The writing is on the wall. We have failed to get our troops home. They will not bring our military back to this country because they need them strategically placed for the next war with Iran.

What can we do to be effective against this madness. As peaceful people we must become disciplined and self reliant and trust that what we are about to undertake is right, because it is right.

Morally, we each have a duty of care towards our fellow human being, whoever and wherever they are.

At some point, at a given time, we will need to SHUT DOWN for peace.

“DO NOTHING” and BUY NOTHING” is the only way we, the ordinary person will be taken seriously of by our Governments.

We must not allow a repeat of the unfounded statements made against Iraq, that has lead to the destruction of a sovereign nation, for no good reason.

We must not allow the media propaganda to take over, and rule our hearts and minds.

Take courage, start to prepare now, emotionally, we will need to be strong.

They have reached a point of no return. The demand to the UK government, the UN, and the International Community is that they will no longer accept the brutal regime that has taken power in the Congo, and is responsible for 16 years of continuous genocide, rape, torture and mutilation.

On the 28^th November 2011, DR Congo went to the election box to choose a new leader. International reports have published that the choice of the Congolese people Mr Tsnisekedi clearly won the election and should have been declared the president of the Congo. Their hope in him is that the genocide will stop and the Congolese can rebuild their lives and live in peace.

The election result was delayed, and just as they had feared, the western backed dictator Joseph Kabila was declared the winner. The polls however show that this could not possibly be the case!

The election has been stolen, and the genocide will continue unless……..demand by the people around the world forces change.

The Congo is mineral rich, with diamonds, gold, and the ‘new gold’ COLTAN which is used to power lap tops, mobile phones, ipods etc.

Petition into Downing Street 11th August 2011

With a notice of 24 hours, the authorities in the UK can now authorise the use of water cannon and plastic bullets, should there be a threat of the violence and looting that has been witnessed in so many  of our cities country-wide.

To date, the evidence against the use of such drastic measures speak for themselves.

It must never be acceptable that we, the British people, will allow our civil liberties to be pushed beyond what is reasonable. Water canon and rubber bullets have been used in Northern Ireland. Sadly this has generally been accepted across the UK. Now for the first time, they could be used in mainland Britain. Also, worryingly, they could be used against protesters and to stop blockades.

We need to rally now in defence of what Britain stands for, and It does not accept that we turn on our own people with force that could lead to serious injury or death. It is used in other countries, however, the British nation will not accept its use here. We say to the British Government:

” DON’T CROSS THE LINE”

If we do, the use of water cannon and plastic bullets  would lead to more potential violence and resentment.

The warning signs of civil unrest has been spoken about for years, coming from teachers, police, social workers, community workers etc. The issue is that consecutive governments have chosen to ignore these concerns.  With the recent austerity cuts that have affected people on low income especially, there has been an outcry, by the people, that has gone unheeded.

Ultimately, if we insist on waging wars, that the people do not want to  support, morally or financially, then something has got to give…..
