Please support this very crucial ongoing demonstration by the British Congolese Community.
They have reached a point of no return. The demand to the UK government, the UN, and the International Community is that they will no longer accept the brutal regime that has taken power in the Congo, and is responsible for 16 years of continuous genocide, rape, torture and mutilation.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
On the 28th November 2011, DR Congo went to the election box to choose a new leader. International reports have published that the choice of the Congolese people Mr Tsnisekedi clearly won the election and should have been declared the president of the Congo. Their hope in him is that the genocide will stop and the Congolese can rebuild their lives and live in peace.
The election result was delayed, and just as they had feared, the western backed dictator Joseph Kabila was declared the winner. The polls however show that this could not possibly be the case!
The election has been stolen, and the genocide will continue unless……..demand by the people around the world forces change.
The Congo is mineral rich, with diamonds, gold, and the ‘new gold’ COLTAN which is used to power lap tops, mobile phones, ipods etc.
